Uridine Kinase
An enzyme that catalyzes the phosphorylation of uridine and cytidine to uridine 5'-phosphate and cytidine 5'-phosphate, respectively. ATP, dUTP, dGTP, and dATP are effective phosphate donors. EC 2.7.1.48.
Uridine monophosphate
5'-Uridylic acid. A uracil nucleotide containing one phosphate group esterified to the sugar moiety in the 2', 3' or 5' position.
Uridine monophosphate disodium
A uracil nucleotide containing one phosphate group esterified to the sugar moiety in the 2', 3' or 5' position.
Uridine phosphate-beta-thiophosphate glucose
Substrate for glucose phosphotransferase; beta-phosphorothioate analog of UDP-glucose.
Uridine triacetate
A uridine prodrug that is used in the treatment of hereditary orotic aciduria.
NCI: A synthetic uridine pro-drug that is converted to uridine in vivo. Uridine, a pyrimidine nucleotide, has been used in a variety of diseases including depressive disorders and inherited myopathies. (NCI Thesaurus)
Uridine triphosphate
Uridine 5'-(tetrahydrogen triphosphate). A uracil nucleotide containing three phosphate groups esterified to the sugar moiety.
