Kessoglycol
Kessyl glycol diacetate
Prolongs hexobarbital-induced sleeping time in mice.
Kester 932G
Ketac cem radiopaque
A dental luting cement, based on a fluoroaluminosilicate glass of general compostion SiO2, Al2O3, AlF3, CaF2, NaF, LaF3 & AlPO4; reacts with a copolymer of poly(acrylic)acid/maleic acid.
Ketac Silver
Fluoride-releasing restorative materials made by the sintering of metal (usually silver) particles to glass ionomer powder. Glass ionomers are fluoride-releasing cements that are not very durable. Sintering of the metal particles is a means of improving those physical properties that will make the glass ionomer cement more durable.
Ketac-bond
Ketac-cem
Combination powder of zinc oxide & magnesium oxide in ratio of 19:1, together with freeze dried powder of unsaturated alpha, beta-dicarboxylic acids, predominantly polymaleic, in aqueous tartaric acid.
Ketac-fil
Glass ionomer cement containing a maleic acid polymer; used in dental restorations.
Ketamine
A cyclohexanone derivative used for induction of anesthesia. Its mechanism of action is not well understood, but ketamine can block NMDA receptors (RECEPTORS, N-METHYL-D-ASPARTATE) and may interact with sigma receptors.
Ketamine hydrochloride
A cyclohexanone derivative used for induction of anesthesia. Its mechanism of action is not well understood, but ketamine can block NMDA receptors (RECEPTORS, N-METHYL-D-ASPARTATE) and may interact with sigma receptors.
Ketanserin
A selective serotonin receptor antagonist with weak adrenergic receptor blocking properties. The drug is effective in lowering blood pressure in essential hypertension. It also inhibits platelet aggregation. It is well tolerated and is particularly effective in older patients.
